TKYO

Hello again, after about a month of not updating my blog. I don't really know why I haven't been writing much, I haven't been on the internet very much lately at all. Well I'm here now, looking out over Shinjuku as I think of what to type. Well first off I'm having an excellent time, I've done so much already and it's only been three days. Shopping's still amazing, girls are still to die for and people are still genuinely nice and open minded. I'm really dreading going back to Hawaii although I know I won't have to be there for long. It just feels like home out here for some reason. Maybe it's because people are so quiet, or because they're all so stylish and fashionable. It's such a great atmosphere, definitely my favorite city I've been to. A lot of people have been asking me from back home, 'How does it feel to be normal?', I guess due to the fact that I actually fit in here. Opposed to America where I stick out like a sore thumb, that really gets old after a while. Everyone there is so concerned about what everyone else is doing or how everyone else dresses they forget to live their own lives. Things like that really annoy me. People assume in America if a guy has tight jeans, and a purse they're automatically a fag or a metro. If people wear all black with boots they automatically assume they're Gothic or 'emo'. There's too much stereotyping that goes on in America, people always try to label you and put you in some kind of group and I really hate that. People out here are who they are and no ones telling them otherwise. This type of society pleases me. Anyways I haven't been taking any pictures at all. I guess I just don't want to look like a tourist because everyone here thinks I'm one of them, it does get strange at times though. People start talking to my mother in English while everyone else talks to me in Japanese. Overall it's quite fun. It's very easy getting around without being able to read anything or communicate. Catching the train is quite an interesting experience also, having thousands of people walking in different directions in the station, yet everyone is very polite. I've taken the train a few times every single day already, I think I'm quite used to the routine. Well from here on out I'll probably just be uploading the photos I do take because I don't really feel like writing much more. Sayonara !
